Proxy

Proxy surfing has been disabled on this site. This means that if you use a proxy server, or software which uses a proxy server you will not be able to log in (but the site is still available as a visiting guest).

By not allowing proxies, it frees up the time currently consumed by administrators and moderators in blocking repeat offenders who have sought to harm this community, your community. And this extra time will allow us to create better and improved features.

For the most part most members should not notice any differences. If you are using a proxy you will have to disable it before you can log in. Since there are dozens of different ways a proxy could be implemented you will have to contact a tech savvy friend or your Internet service provider in extreme cases.

In time we may allow some access once again through proxies, but not in the foreseeable future.
